DStv Commercial offers packages based on your needs. Select the type of establishment you are, from the list below, to see what DStv offers:
Subscription fees to hotel subscribers are ALREADY calculated / based on an average occupancy of 50% throughout the year. This means that no further occupancy adjustment is required. (As it is already built in to our price) EG: If a hotel has 100 hotel rooms then they must pay for ALL 100-hotel rooms at the FULL RATE of subscription fee. Hotel Premium Bouquet is calculated on the number of TV points / rooms on a monthly basis.
Pubs and Clubs are classified as ANY VENUE THAT IS ACCESSABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
This includes any venue where access IS NOT RESTRICTED and a person can walk in off the street.
It must be noted that due to programming rights and the fact that we are not a public broadcaster, M Net, Movie Magic 1, Movie Magic 2, Action X and Canal+ ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE SHOWN IN “PUBLIC AREAS” under any circumstances whatsoever. (IE: Bars, restaurants, nightclubs, shops, etc).
Restricted Viewing is classified as ANY VENUE WHERE ACCESS IS RESTRICTED. (The general public can’t just walk in off the street). This option is used where there is a TV Lounge.
EG: Private sports clubs, offices, police / army barracks, fire stations, nurses homes, hostels, schools, security company control rooms, oils rigs, etc.
